The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa (Subclass 186) allows Australian businesses to nominate their employees to work and live in Australia permanently. There are two main ways to qualify:
Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream: the employee must have worked in the nominated occupation full time for at least 3 years and meet certain eligibility requirements; or
Direct Entry (DE) stream: the employee do not have to wait the 3 years if their occupation is on the relevant list of eligible occupations and they meet certain eligibility requirements
